We've built battery cabinets for cell phone tower backup power supply, which have evolved into safer, more energy-dense battery module systems. As we move toward offering more renewable energy solutions, our experience in battery storage provides a solid foundation.
Our Director of Operations, James Amigh, has extensive knowledge and experience in energy storage and designing cabinets for energy storage systems. With his expert guidance, AMF has begun building microgrid infrastructure such as battery and power cabinets, and we’re going the extra mile by enhancing our laser welding services.
We invested in an automated laser welder that not only ensures a consistent and high-quality weld that allows us to connect multiple batteries into more powerful and energy dense modules. Putting too much heat on a lithium-ion battery can negatively impact its performance and lifespan. But with laser welding, the heat is minimal and lasts less than a second. On one module we have welded for a customer of ours, each module holds 5.1 kilowatt hours.
