We recently purchased a Kitamura 2XD sparkchanger and a Kitamura 4XiD to increase the capacity and capabilities of our machine shop! Kitamura machines are known for holding the tightest tolerances of all machining centers, which is why company’s like Raytheon prefer to use them exclusively. Not only that, but the speed of these machines will help us get parts out more efficiently and more cost effective for our customers. This is just another example of how we are committed to continually investing in the most innovative equipment so that our team can best serve our customers. The Mycenter-2XD Sparkchanger vertical machining center is equipped with an automatic 2 station 180 degree rotating pallet change system that delivers the fastest pallet change times in the industry. Operators can safely load and unload pallets while the machine is in cycle. The super compact space-saving design takes up less of your valuable floor space and is ready for applications that require fast change-over at a moment’s notice. Highly adaptive with robust cutting capabilities, the Mycenter-2XD Sparkchanger is a breakthrough solution for all of you small to medium high volume production part processes.

The Mycenter-4XiD also has a remarkably small footprint while boasting a 40′ x 20″ x 20″ X, Y, Z travels while maintaining +/- .002mm positional accuracy. The machine features a 35hp spindle that achieves 12,000 rpm, as well as a class-leading high-capacity 40 tool ATC that changes tools in 1.9 seconds.
